Contracts Compliance Specialist

Job description
The Compliance Specialist works closely with Salesforce and internal departments in supporting assigned contracts to ensure company compliance. The Contract Compliance Specialist will be responsible for monitoring their assigned contracts to determine whether contractual obligations are being met.
The Compliance Specialist will report to the Director of Public Sector Contract Compliance. This role is required to report to the SHI Somerset, NJ location as determined by SHI management.

Include, but are not limited to:
- Monitor company performance on assigned contracts to determine level of compliance
- Read and analyze both contracts and proposals to identify operational risk
- Collaborate with internal departments to identify where compliance is not being met
- Identify areas for improvement and suggest methods to increase performance on assigned contracts
- Assist with Capture, Proposals, and Contracts to ensure operating issues are addressed and corrected
- Confirm third party vendor/partners are fulfilling contractual obligations where appropriate
- Create compliance reports and communicate results to customers
- Lead projects assigned from management geared to improve compliance processes
- Manage high volume activity while meeting response Service Level Agreements (SLA’s) and escalating as required
- Bachelor’s Degree or relevant experience
- At leaset 1 year business experience
- Experience with Microsoft Word, including Track Changes and Inserting additional Documents and Charts
- Proven project management experience
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat
- Strong attention to detail
- Familiarity with IT/Technology products and solutions
- Familiarity with contract terms and conditions
- Familiarity with contract vehicles and consortia
- Ability to work independently under time constraints to meet deadlines
- Ability to meet SLAs and high-volume activity
- Ability to be p roficient in time management and prioritization of multiple tasks
- Clear and concise communication, both written and verbal
- Comfortable with reading contracts and proposals
- Strong analytical skills
Preferred Skills:
- Familiar with Public Sector structure
- Comfortable presenting and leading discussions with internal SHI teams
- The estimated annual pay range for this position is $45,000 - $80,000. The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual. Benefits may include, but are not limited to, medical, vision, dental, 401K, and flexible spending.
