Position Summary :
The Financial Analyst will perform budget to actual analysis, meet with stakeholders across the organization, contribute to monthly and quarterly management presentation materials, and conduct ad hoc analysis. This individual will work with finance, product development, sales, and ops personnel in order to drive financial accuracy, accountability, and understanding across the organization.
Essential Functions :
- Plays a pivotal role in driving both near-term execution and long-term planning
- Analyzes processes to identify gaps that can improve profit margins, and create financial models that enable management teams to make strategic decisions
- Collaborates with team members in preparation of high visibility monthly senior management and quarterly Board of Director presentation decks for both actual and budget results.
- Develops and maintain analytics dashboards for relevant stakeholders with a focus on accuracy, automation, and efficiency
- Establishes financial processes, and evaluating savings opportunities
- Supports senior leadership in Financial Statement Analysis by responding to inquiry on summary financials, assembling detailed analysis of journal entry and vendor detail, and coordinating with various stakeholders to evaluate business trends that impact total company financial performance
- Reviews Capital Expenditure plans to validate that proposed expenditures align with total company targets
- Partners with the business to determine if savings opportunities exist, preparing RFQs, and lead efforts to negotiate more favorable terms
- Reviews, interprets, and explains core drivers of P&L variances against prior year and against budget
- Conducts market research on industry peers and develop a process for benchmarking
- Proactively challenges the status quo and investigate issues independently and as a team
- Adheres to the letter and spirit of the company Code of Conduct, the AdvaMed Code, MedTech Code, and all other company policies.
- Ensures Compliance with applicable governmental laws, rules, and regulations, both in the United States and internationally, by completing introductory and annual training and maintaining knowledge of compliance as it applies to your role
- Represents the company in a professional manner and uphold the highest standards of ethical business practices and socially responsible conduct in all interactions with other employees, customers, suppliers, and other third parties

Qualifications :
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Mathematics
- 0-3 years of relevant Finance experience
- Strong understanding of financial concepts and basic understanding of U.S. GAAP
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office products, knowledge of Microsoft Power BI preferred
- Strong level of intellectual curiosity, ability of digging into details to determine the root cause and find the solution with colleagues
- Comfortable working in a dynamic environment with tight deadlines
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team, and interface with various levels of management
- Self-starter
- Advanced critical thinking and problems-solving skills
