1st shift Operating role paying $21-23/hr

Description:

The position will be in the secondary department. The candidate will receive parts that were machined in different areas and make small modifications to the product.

• Will be working on the inspection of the different metal parts. Use a micrometer, caliper, and comparator.
• Will be using a CMM machine as well. Need to be able to learn how to program CMM.

• 70% of the day will be inspection and documentation.
• 25% of the day will be CMM
• 5% will be more general duties such as cleaning work area and filing paperwork.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Looking for someone with recent experience inside a metal stamping environment. Ability to set up and operate small punch press (70ton), and also someone who used deburring machines before. Will have to change out small dies and set the machine back up. (Not in depth setups, just changing a die, should only take about 5 min to change.

• 3+ months of experience working with shipping software on the computer and Machine Operation.
• Ability to stand all day for 8-hour shifts and lift up to 50+lbs at times throughout the day, some of the small parts are really heavy and there are lift to help assist.
• 3+ months warehousing experience order picking
