Job description
As an Instructional Designer at Paymerang, you will play a key role in developing engaging learning experiences for our employees and clients. You will have the opportunity to work with a talented Learning and Development team to create engaging and compelling learning experiences.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to identify learning needs and objectives related to our payment automation solutions.
- Design and develop high-quality instructional materials, including e-learning modules, training videos, job aids, and user guides.
- Utilize instructional design methodologies, such as ADDIE or SAM, to create effective learning solutions that meet the needs of diverse learners.
- Incorporate multimedia elements, interactive features, and gamification techniques to enhance learner engagement and knowledge retention.
- Ensure that learning materials are accessible, user-friendly, and comply with relevant industry standards and regulations.
- Conduct needs assessments, learner analysis, and usability testing to evaluate the effectiveness of learning solutions and make continuous improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development, customer support, and sales, to align training initiatives with business goals.
- Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in instructional design and e-learning.
- Provide guidance and support to internal stakeholders, including trainers and instructors, in delivering effective training sessions.
Requirements
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Experience in instructional design and/or e-learning development, preferably in a software or technology-focused environment.
- Proficiency with instructional design software/tools, such as Articulate 360, Adobe Captivate, Camtasia, and learning management systems (LMS).
- Strong understanding of adult learning principles, learning theories (e.g., cognitive load theory), and instructional design models.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and concisely.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
- Creative problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset, with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
- Experience working with remote teams and delivering virtual training sessions is a plus.
