Job description

Responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated tests using various tools and frameworks. Also mentor and teach other team members on automation fundamentals and best practices. Minimum 5 years Test Automation Experience.

**This is a hybrid position. The manager expects the candidate to come onsite a couple times a quarter. The manager requires a candidate that's in North Carolina. The candidate will need to come onsite the first day to collect equipment.

NCDOT is seeking a person with an advanced technical knowledge of Test Automation to design, write and maintain Test Automation Frameworks and to mentor team members developing these skills. This will be a 12-month engagement and onward. This position will support the DIT DMV Enterprise Systems Testing and Performance Team.

This position will support duties consistent of assisting in improving the quality and efficiency of our software development process. The position will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated tests using various tools and frameworks. It will also mentor and teach other team members on automation fundamentals and best practices.

Skill Required /Desired Amount of Experience
Experience with Manual Test Execution, Test Scenario and Test Case Writing, and Test Metrics and reporting Required 10 Years
Experience with Automated Testing products such as Tricentis Tosca, Cypress or Selenium, Jira. OpenText ALM and UFT. Required 5 Years
Experience with developing test automation scripts and timely maintenance of the scripts as per the changes in the application Required 5 Years
Solid knowledge of SQL to query DB2 and SQL Server data and verify results. Required 5 Years
Experience with UFT's Business Process Testing (BPT) framework, creating mainframe automation scripts using UFT, and Performance testing preferred. Desired 5 Years
