Job Title: DevOps Engineer
Location: Chantilly, VA
Salary: $140-230k DOE

Rapidly Growing Optical Sensing Co. Seeks DevOps Engineer in Chantilly, VA!

We are a rapidly growing company that provides services to the aerospace and defense industry related to sensors & electro-optics! We've been in business for over 15 years, and as we grow our team, we are searching for people who want to build long-term careers with us!

What You Will Be Doing

Supporting current AWS development and test environments, collaborating with project and customer team members, while spearheading improved solutions toward benefits in reuse and operational efficiencies. Supporting engagements related to assessing, refactoring, and identifying opportunities for existing applications that take advantage of modern application architectures (microservices, containers, etc.). Automating application deployment into varied and complex environments using virtual machines, container technologies, Kubernetes, Cloud environments, and bare metal servers.

What You Need for this Position

Must have at least 7+ years of experience:
- Software/Systems Engineering
- Linux Systems

Must have at least 3+ years of experience with:
- DevOps Engineering
- Supporting DevOps tool chain and pipeline environments (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Jenkins, SonarQube, Artifactory)
- Containerization technologies (Kubernetes, Docker)
- Architecting solutions in AWS
- Designing, enabling, and delivering scalable and automated strategies through Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (Ansible, Terraform)
- Managing cloud network resources

Active TS/SCI security clearance is REQUIRED.
CompTIA Security + and CISM certifications are REQUIRED.
CISSP, Azure AZ-104, Azure AZ-500, CEH Certifications are preferred.

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field is required.
