Salary: Up to $34,000 annually

Job Description: We are seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a Remote Music Researcher. This entry-level position offers an exciting opportunity to gain valuable experience in the music business while working remotely. The ideal candidate will possess strong attention to detail, excellent research skills, and a passion for music.
Responsibilities:
Conduct research on music copyright ownership using various online sources, direct references, and industry tools
Update and maintain Songdex, the largest independent music copyright database
Match sound recordings to corresponding musical works
Assist with other music database maintenance tasks, such as researching new releases and processing music cue sheets
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree Required
Interest in learning the business side of the music industry
Familiarity with a variety of musical artists, genres, and styles; understanding of music publishing is a plus
Demonstrated experience in data entry and research
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google applications
Strong attention to detail and ability to identify and communicate issues effectively
Excellent organizational and time management skills
