Job description
BAE Systems is seeking a Task Order Lead to function as Project/Program Manager for a Capabilities Management task on a large Army Open Source Intelligence contract. This Task Lead shall have organizational authority to execute the requirements of one of the major Tasks for the Program. The Task Lead shall manage overall TO performance to ensure the optimal use of assigned resources. This individual will also have the ultimate authority to commit the contractor’s organization and make decisions for the contractor’s organization in response to requirements, issues, concerns, or problems. Finally, the Task Lead shall also be responsible for management and oversight of all activities performed by contractor personnel, including subcontractors, to satisfy the requirements identified in this Task.
In addition, this Task Lead/Capabilities Manager will perform the following duties:
- Manage feedback & capability exploration with leadership of the supported forces, engage and collaborate with OSINT Industry leaders to best inform and support client leadership decision making.
- Daily interaction with senior Army leadership, industry IT leaders and IC/DoD Partners to assist in the development of client data strategy objectives, application identification and implementation.
- Coordinate all capability assessments of existing OSINT/PAI capabilities and emerging technologies, recommendations for integration into the OSINT Toolkit, and plans for moving the tool directly to the operational environment (if applicable).
- Assist in determining the best solution needed to address the gaps, overlaps and any possible duplication effort at the enterprise-level rather than at the individual operator’s level. This includes synchronization of IT strategy and planning with existing and future business goals to include promotion of shared applications.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills - A Bachelor’s degree with 12+ years of experience developing new methods and capabilities to drive organizational objectives, completing analysis and assessments of programs in order to assess gaps, overlaps, and duplications of effort
- 10+ years of experience managing staff and interacting with Government customers and interfacing with executive leadership.
- Experience in review of work products for correctness; and compliance with industry best practices, DoD standards, and Army standards.
- Experience in leadership of complex tasks, including review of work products for correctness and compliance with industry best practices, DoD standards, and Army standards.
- Experience planning, directing, coordinating, and managing proposed methodologies and approach for a project or program similar in scope and complexity to this Task.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for internal and external customers.
- Experience with OSINT products, tradecraft or technologies
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills - Masters' degree
- 20+ years of Program Management experience
Pay Information Full-Time Salary Range: $126610 - $215270
