Part-time BCBA/Clinical Supervisor Job Description
The BCBA/Clinical Supervisor serves as the supervisor and primary contact for all ABA Services provided to children and their families in clients' homes and in the community. They are responsible for creating, implementing and running ABA treatment plans and services and the training and ongoing supervision of direct care staff providing the ABA services in the identified setting.
Job duties:
- Manage all levels of treatment according to individualized goals/programs for individual clients
- Conducting assessments, such as ABLLS or VB Mapp
- Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA) and Behavior Intervention Plans
- Based on assessments and child's individual needs, develop the treatment plan, treatment plan renewals, and treatment plan modifications according to specified timelines
- Create and update program goals and data sheets
- Train staff on techniques and principles of Applied Behavior Analysis and other therapeutic interventions
- Provide child-specific training to direct care staff
- Maintain ongoing communication with child's family, school, and other providers
- Aid in ABA Program Development
- Weekly/bi-weekly home/location visits 1:10 supervision ratio
- Monitor effectiveness of treatment plan, BIPS
- Attend school observations and/or IEP meetings
- Maintain current and ongoing documentation
- Collaborate with other clinical team members
- Provide a minimum of monthly Parent Coaching
- Provide direct instruction to children and their families
- Provide direct care to children during early stages of treatment
- Attends Monthly Clinical Supervisor Meeting
- Bi-weekly consult meeting with the Lead Home-based BCBA
- Use electronic software to maintain client and treatment records
- Other tasks, as directed by the Clinical Director
