We are looking for an Associate Creative Director with 8+ years of progressive experience art directing or designing books or other similar consumer products. The ideal candidate is exhilarated by the rapidly changing marketplace for romance books and is passionate about working in this space to drive the creative vision and cover development for all of Bloom Books. This position will focus primarily on Bloom, and applications that do not note an understanding of the imprint will not be considered.
Our art and design team members are industry leaders in creativity and vision. We are a highly collaborative group of creatives who value using data to drive results and inform our decisions. You will collaborate with key stakeholders to lead the creative vision, art style, and final packaging for Bloom, watching developing trends and knowing what is working and what can elevate a package to drive point of sale in the marketplace. While you will directly oversee a small in-house team and work with our stable of freelance designers, this position requires someone with fantastic design chops who is flexible and able to design covers and help solve creative challenges in a fast-paced environment.
