Job description
The successful candidate will be trained on and operate a variety of industrial equipment, including drills, calibers, routers, lathes, band-saws, cold-saws, lasers, CNC machines, and more. Responsibilities include working from work orders, performing daily machine maintenance checks, preparing daily production reports, and ensuring machined parts meet quality standards as per blueprints.
This is a fully on-site position in East Moline, Illinois.
This role is based in an older facility that houses various types of machinery, resulting in a somewhat dirty and dark environment. Despite the older look, the facility is welcoming and focuses on employee growth and development. The successful candidate will work primarily independently but with 1-2 people during training and occasionally post-training. The facility has over 50 people working in it. Safety gear required includes steel toes with metatarsals, jeans, and a t-shirt. Work hours are either 2nd Shift (M-F 3pm-11pm) or 3rd Shift (Sun-Thurs 11pm-7am), with respective pay rates of $18.00-$19.50 per hour with a shift differential.
