Join us in this multifaceted role where you'll drive human resources initiatives and oversee facility operations, ensuring a seamless experience for all.

More specifically, you will

Manage the full employee life cycle, including recruitment, onboarding and offboarding of employees

Provide guidance and support to employees and managers on HR-related matters

Develop and implement or update HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.

Ensure an accurate bi-weekly payroll

Coordinate benefit programs including, but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, disability, life and health-savings accounts and coordinate the annual Open Enrollment

Ensure that applications for immigration and visas are completed accurately and in a timely manner. Assist the employee throughout the immigration procedure. 

Maintain accurate HR records and documentation, including employee files, HRIS data, and reports.

Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure HR processes are efficient and effective.

Manage the Facility budget and the different contractors/providers

Create Purchase Orders and follow-up on invoices

Ensure tax compliance

Organize team building activities

Ensure a healthy and safe workplace

Your profile

10+ years experience in an HR role with a focus on employee relations, payroll and HR compliance

Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations (esp. Michigan and California)

Experience with immigration procedures

Experience in an international company with a (partially) remote workforce is an asset

Autonomous and hands-on with strong problem solving skills

Open to travel (approx. 1x quarter to California, 1x year to the headquarters in Belgium)
