Receptionist Job Description:

We are looking for a qualified host to welcome and greet our clients, direct them their tables, and handle our various administrative support tasks.

A good host must greet every guest who comes to our restaurant, and maintain our reservation system. He or she will need to handle a variety of tasks, such as greeting guest, taking and routing phone calls, updating our reservation system, organizing merchandise, and preparing tables for guests.

A good job candidate must be professional and friendly, especially when dealing with guests. Excellent service is a must for great customer experiences.

Responsibilities of a Host:

• Welcoming and greeting clients
• Directing guests to their tables
• Answering and forwarding phone calls
• Organizing merchandise in retail shop
• Preparing rooms for guests
• Keeping the host desk and area clean and well-organized
• Providing delightful customer service

Host Job Requirements:

• Experience as a host is a plus
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Great telephone communication skills
• Great organizational skills
• Customer-centric approach
• Professional and friendly disposition
• Ability to work in a team
• Willingness to assist colleagues with support tasks
