Key Responsibilities:
- Provide clear and accurate interpretation between spoken language and American Sign Language (ASL)
- Assist in facilitating effective communication between individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing and hearing individuals
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions
Requirements
- Proficient in American Sign Language (ASL)
- PEL endorsed in Educational Sign Language Interpretation.
- EIPA score of 3.5 or higher.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience working in a school setting.
