Human Resources Specialist
We have a fantastic opportunity for a highly motivated Human Resources Specialist, (HR Services) to join our fast-growing HR team. In this role, you will support the Manager of HR Services and the PS&S team in activities related to HR systems and operations. The multi-functional role will assist in day-to-day responsibilities, including HRIS & system support, employee record maintenance, employee transaction processing and oversight, and will assist our wonderful Finance group for payroll processing. The successful candidate will be excited to be a valued contributor towards the evolution of our high-functioning Human Resources function. This person will partner with the Manager or HR Services and support all our US based HR Systems. We believe HR should be extremely thoughtful, intentional, and creative when designing HR products that enable great science to continue being done at BioNTech. The new role will be based at our US headquarters in Cambridge Massachusetts and will report to the Manager of HR Services and work across the US and global HR teams.
Responsibilities
Assist in providing an outstanding Employee Experience by resolving employees and managers inquiries through various communication channels.
Support in activities related to HR Operations, HR systems and services, reporting, & internal system management.
Help maintain HR Operations programs, reviewing existing systems, tools, and processes to develop and implement new changes to improve and streamline current operations.
Manages the data integrity for all US-based employees.
Perform quarterly audits across all HR systems to ensure accuracy.
Review weekly EDI activity reports, troubleshoot error’s, and resolve discrepancies where necessary.
Work with Manager, HR Services, Senior HR Benefits Specialist & Finance team to ensure accuracy and timeliness of our bi-weekly payroll processing, providing valuable input on continuous improvement.
Assist in managing and maintaining electronic and paper personnel files, general filing, and administration with a passion for accuracy.
Support in projects and activities related to HR Operations, people, systems and services.
Assist in addressing and assigning HR Service Requests via our HR portal, ServiceNow.
HRIS and system data entry and maintenance for new hires and employee change transactions so employees are paid accurately and timely.
Requirements
3 plus years HR experience with an emphasis and interest in HR Systems and Services and/or HR Operations
Strong organizational skills & meticulous attention to detail and thrive working in a highly collaborative, global team-based environment.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Exceptional project management ability, making you proficient at breaking down large-scale complex problems into clear, ambitious, and manageable tasks.
Effective multi-tasking, working quickly and accurately in an exciting, fast paced environment.
Preferred requirements
Experience with SAP SuccessFactors HRIS, ADP Workforce Now and ServiceNow.
