Position Summary
This executive position provides overall direction of the transportainment experience within guidelines set by the corporate executives. Plan, direct, or coordinate operational activities at the highest level of management with the help of staff managers in accordance with the company's mission to be The Nation's Storyteller ®.

- Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Must have 5-7 years of strong managerial experience, hospitality experience preferred
- Ability to analyze operations to evaluate the performance of a company and the staff in meeting objectives, maximizing investments and determining areas of program improvement, or policy change
- Experience developing action plans to enhance an operation or solve organizational or departmental problems
- Ability to confer with organization officials and staff members to discuss issues, coordinate activities and resolve problems
- Ability to identify, establish and maintain effective working relationships with client's groups and audiences (both national and international), government officials, and media representatives and use these relationships to develop new business opportunities, determine the best way to communicate publicity information to them and drive sales
- Experience preparing budgets for approval, including those for funding and implementation of programs
- Experience negotiating or approving contracts and agreements with suppliers, distributors, federal and state agencies and other organizational entities
- Experience appointing managers, assigning or delegating responsibilities to them and coordinating functions among departments and compliance with regulatory agencies such as Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)
- Experience participating in the planning and direction of management and employee training to develop and control the OTT-San Diego experience.
- Experience delivering speeches, writing articles and presenting information at meetings or conventions to promote services, exchange ideas, and accomplish objectives.
- Must pass annual Motor Vehicle Reports (MVR) checks as required by the Department of Transportation (DOT)
- Ability to consistently pass DOT physical and random drug testing
- Ability to travel to meetings and trade shows required
Qualifications
- Must be able to obtain a Commercial Driver License which will include passing a DOT physical
- Must have a valid Driver's License with an acceptable and verifiable driving record of at least three years
- Successful candidate must undergo a drug test and a background search
