About the role
The Telehealth Practice Manager will be responsible for management of medical support staff and the optimization of the business side of the medical group.
Responsibilities
- Supervise the day to day activities and performance of the MA, and RN staff, including ensuring implementation of appropriate ongoing training and successful patient interactions
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of medical related services, including but not limited to, facilitating lab requests and reviews, management of benefit checks and optimization of prior authorizations
- Manage provider group, MA, and RN staff scheduling to align with forecasted patient volume and appropriate workforce management practices
- Collaborate with RCM and the Clinical Team to set charting guidelines and ensure accurate completion of charts in line with internal standards and insurance expectations
- Manage Medical Billing Team and oversee provider billing issues including billing or payment failure, pharmacy billing discrepancies, insurance related billing and billing escalations
- Ensure appropriate systems and mechanisms are in place to create consistent and accurate patient care and related reporting
- Develop and monitor KPIs related to clinical practices
- Maintain awareness of provider group licensing and credentialing requirements, deadlines, and relevant native or partner pharmacy platform access.
- Collaborate with Compliance and Operations to ensure adherence to policies and procedures, including adherence to HIPAA and insurance requirements
Requirements
- Advanced degree in health services administration, hospital administration, Nursing, MBA or MPH.
- 7+ years of practice management for a large provider group
- 5+ years of clinic supervision leadership experience
- Experience with insurance & compliance required
- Excellent written & oral communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to motivate staff to achieve optimal individual and team performance
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with physicians, clinical and technical staff.
- Ability to lead a highly visible team, requiring a high level of professionalism and flexibility
- Ability to be on site in our Greenville, SC facility
