HomeCare Connections LLC is a Personal Service Agency licensed through Indiana Department of Health to provide (1) attendant care services; (2) homemaker services that assist with or perform household tasks, including housekeeping, shopping, laundry, meal planning and preparation, and cleaning; and (3) companion services that provide fellowship, care, and protection for a client, including transportation to and from client's residence.

Receptionist is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of the front desk area. They are the first point of contact for visitors and guests, and they play a crucial role in creating a positive and welcoming atmosphere.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS - JOB KNOWLEDGE, PERSONAL ABILITIES:

1. Greeting and welcoming visitors and guests with a friendly and professional demeanor.

2. Answering phone calls, taking messages, and directing calls to the appropriate person or department.

3. Managing the reception area, ensuring it is clean, organized, and presentable at all times.

4. Assisting with administrative tasks such as filing, photocopying, and data entry.

5. Scheduling appointments and maintaining calendars for staff members.

6. Handling incoming and outgoing mail and packages.

7. Providing information and assistance to visitors, including directions and general inquiries.

8. Maintaining security by following procedures and monitoring the visitor logbook.

9. Coordinating with other departments to ensure smooth communication and workflow.

10. Resolving customer complaints or issues in a professional and timely manner.

11. Keeping track of office supplies and placing orders when necessary.

12. Overall receptionist plays a vital role in creating a positive first impression for visitors and ensuring the smooth operation of the front desk area, and

13. Assisting with special projects and events as needed.

QUALIFICATION

1. At least 3 years' experience in nursing, healthcare administration, or a related field (preferred).

2. Proven experience as a Receptionist or in a similar role, preferably in the homecare or healthcare industry.

3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.

4. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.

5. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.

6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.

7. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to anticipate and address potential issues.
