Job DescriptionJob DescriptionBlueJacket Delivery LLC is an Amazon DSP (Delivery Service Partner) that is owned and operated as a part of the BlueJacket family of companies that has been entrenched in last-mile service excellence in the Reno and Boise areas since May 2019. In addition to our other last-mile delivery, installation, and logistics businesses, BlueJacket Delivery will be expanding operations to deliver items for Amazon in Eastern Idaho. 


**Overview:**
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team as a Fleet Manager/Assistant Manager. This dual role requires someone with strong organizational and leadership skills to efficiently manage our fleet operations and assist in management.

**Responsibilities:**

1. **Fleet Management:**
- Oversee the maintenance, scheduling, and operations of the company's fleet.
- Coordinate vehicle inspections, repairs, and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Optimize route planning to enhance efficiency and reduce operational costs.
- Manage relationships with external vendors, including maintenance and fuel providers.

2. **Assistant Management:**
- Collaborate with the station manager to maintain an organized and efficient DSP.
- Support the implementation of safety protocols and procedures.
- Staffing, scheduling and delivery metrics and delivery metrics
- Tasks at the discretion of the station manager

 
3. **Team Leadership:**
- Supervise and lead a team of drivers and dispatch.
- Provide training and development opportunities to enhance team performance.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.

**Qualifications:**

- Proven experience in fleet management and DSP operations.
- Strong knowledge of logistics, transportation, and inventory management.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Effective leadership and communication skills.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements in fleet management.
- Proficient in relevant software and systems (e.g., fleet management software, inventory management tools).

**Education and Experience:**

- Supply chain management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in fleet management and warehouse operations.
