Job description
An established critical access hospital located in northern New Hampshire is now looking for an experienced Financial Controller to join their award-winning healthcare team.
For more than a century, this critical access location has provided accessible, affordable, and high-quality healthcare to the surrounding communities. This location represents a number of services including a level IV Trauma Center, inpatient services, orthopedics and surgical services, imaging and laboratory testing, behavioral health, and rehabilitative services.
Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Financial Controller will oversee all accounts payable, payroll, and general accounting functions for the organization. The Financial Controller will also manage department human resources, review workflow and processes, identifies areas of improvement, develops internal policies and procedures, manages all monthly and year-end closings, leads and directs financial reporting, and prepares annual budgets and audits. The Financial Controller serves as a subject matter expert of billing and collections of Medicare, Medicaid, and third party payers.
