POSITION SUMMARY

USC Rossier School of Education seeks applicants for a Fieldwork Coordinator serving the Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT), Master of Arts in School Counseling (MSC) and Master of Arts in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (MAT-TESOL) programs. The Fieldwork Coordinator counsels and provides graduate students fieldwork placement services. This individual coordinates the placement of teacher candidates in K-12 school sites for the purpose of “student teaching,” and coordinates the placement of school counseling interns in appropriate settings for the purpose of completing fieldwork requirements. The position is affiliated with the MAT Programs Office and the Master’s Program Office (MPO) in the Rossier School of Education. This is a specialist position, which may involve supervising student workers.

INSTRUCTIONS:

The hourly pay range for this position is $30.77-$33.33. When extending an offer of employment, the University of Southern California considers factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate’s work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, federal, state, and local laws, contractual stipulations, grant funding, as well as external market and organizational considerations.

Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree, Combined experience/education as substitute for minimum education Minimum Experience: 2 years Minimum Field of Expertise: Directly related professional experience in program specialization, e.g., counseling or teaching.
