Job description
Roles & Responsibilities:
1. Design and Architecture: Design and plan unified communications solutions based on organizational needs, ensuring scalability, security, and performance.
2. Implementation: Deploy and configure unified communications systems, including VoIP, video conferencing, instant messaging, and collaboration tools.
3. Maintenance: Monitor and maintain the health and performance of unified communications infrastructure, troubleshoot issues, and perform regular updates and patches.
4. Integration: Integrate unified communications systems with other IT components, such as network infrastructure, Active Directory, and cloud services.
5. Security: Implement security measures to protect communication channels, data, and endpoints, and ensure compliance with security standards and regulations.
6. User Support: Provide technical support to end-users, resolve communication-related issues, and offer training when necessary.
7. Documentation: Create and maintain documentation for unified communications systems, including configurations, procedures, and best practices.
8. Vendor Management: Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to procure hardware, software, and services, and manage vendor relationships.
9. Capacity Planning: Analyze usage patterns and plan for capacity upgrades to meet future communication needs.
10. Disaster Recovery / BCP: Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans and procedures to ensure business continuity in case of system failures. #LI-CM2
