Noblis is seeking an experienced Test Engineer to join a dynamic team at the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) William J. Hughes Technical in support of the FAA Enterprise Networks Services (FENS) program. The FENS program will provide highly-available and secure communications, information services, and networking capabilities essential to National Airspace System (NAS) operations and agency administration.

 

The engineer will serve as a network telecommunications technical expert within the test and evaluation team. Testing will include evaluation of conformance to customer requirements for telecommunications technologies, network designs, interconnections with other networks, management and surveillance tools, and interaction with customer systems. Tests will be conducted at several purpose-built test facilities at government and commercial locations and will follow a rigorous protocol developed by the customer. Evaluation criteria may include models, reports, and technical solutions to assess network management systems to monitor, diagnose, control, and provide performance measurement of multiple interconnected communication networks. Evaluation may also include systems for network management, performance analysis, and security operations and management.

Salary at Noblis is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the combination of education, certifications, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, internal and external equity, location, and clearance level, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements and applicable employment laws. The projected compensation range for this position  is provided within the posting and  are based on full time status. Part time staff receive a prorated salary based on regularly scheduled hours. The estimated minimum and maximum displayed represents the broadest range for this position (inclusive of high geographic and high clearance requirements), and is just one component of Noblis’ total compensation package for employees.

 

USD $109,100.00 - USD $190,900.00 /Yr.
