At Parkview Packnett Family Cancer Institute, we have a novel clinical model which allows for disease site-based management.
Parkview Cancer Institute combines our specialists into clinics based on disease states and wraps the treatments in concierge-level care with world-class support services.
We are looking for candidates interested in subspecialty expertise to join our tertiary care teams at PFCI. All our medical oncologists and hematologists are subspecialized.
Call is low frequency (<1/10) and at one hospital. Great work-life balance and ability to develop a career with subspecialty expertise.
Best of both worlds academic style tumor boards, multidisciplinary care & ability to deliver subspecialized cancer care with focus on specific disease states but excellent compensation packages!
Our patients have a robust supportive care program to optimize their cancer care journey from screening to survivorship. The Parkview Packnett Family Cancer Institute takes pride in cutting-edge clinical care, research/trials, and optimal patient experience. Our specialty oncologists and hematologists have time for academic endeavors, CME support, and time for high quality clinical care. There is opportunity with the ABIM Medicine residency for teaching as well as pure clinical or researched focused practices.
All patients are reviewed at our various disease site specific multidisciplinary Tumor Boards and are supported by robust navigation and supportive care infrastructure.

Parkview Packnett Family Cancer Institute (PFCI) is a 200,000 square foot state of the art cancer institute located in Fort Wayne, Indiana , attached to a tertiary regional medical center. Parkview Packnett Family Cancer Institute serves the oncology needs for the Parkview Health system, which is a not for profit, multihospital health system with oncology cases coming to the institute for specialty cancer care. New fellowship grads and established physicians are welcome to apply for a position. We are the regional referral center for oncology care, COC comprehensive center.
Current positions include the following board eligible/ certified oncologists: Breast Medical Oncologist, Lung and/or
Head & Neck focused Medical Oncologist, Genitourinary Medical Oncologist, melanoma oncology specialist.
