JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Customer within a technical and transnational mission center is seeking technical targeting assistance with directing multiple technology-focused initiatives. These efforts will advance collection operations against high-priority technology goals for the Customer. The candidate will utilize all-sources, Intelligence Community databases, and cross-community relationships to develop an integrated approach to targeting emerging technology information gaps in support of Customer requirements. Duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Support Targeting Branch Chief, Senior Targeters, and Program Coordinators and partner closely with Customer and other IC stakeholders to maintain awareness of operational needs across four priority technology topics.
- Drive the development of clandestine operations, liaison relationships, and private sector/academic engagement through all-source and technical targeting to address mission priorities.
- Work closely with Branch, Senior Targeters, and Program Coordinators to collaborate across IC partners to harness cross-IC coordination in addition to cross-Agency collaboration and synchronization.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Current TS/SCI clearance with full-scope polygraph.
- Demonstrated experience using the full suite of targeting and enterprise data analytic tools for technical analysis and targeting.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent interpersonal skills including strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to varying audiences.
- Strong critical thinking skills and record of collaborating across Customer mission partners on analytic production, targeting packages, and/or collection requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to understand stakeholder needs, apply targeting expertise, and propose creative solutions to complex problems.
- Ability to work within small teams, brainstorm ideas, support group decisions, and solicit opinions from co-workers.
- Demonstrated self-starter in situations of ambiguity; ability to clearly define and articulate mission objectives with direction through completion.
- Experience with Customer’s cable databases.
Desired Qualifications:
- Academic or professional experience working on topics related to emerging technologies.
