Overview

The Graphic Design Manager will lead in the production of high-quality print designs that effectively communicate training content.  This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on instructional design expertise to ensure that our organization's learning initiatives align with business objectives and promote continuous development for our employees.

The essential functions in this are not all-inclusive of this position’s duties and responsibilities.  Reliable and dependable attendance is required.

Graphic Design Production:

• Conceptualize, design, and produce a wide range of materials, including digital and print collateral, signage, packaging, and promotional items.
• Lead the creation of visually appealing printed training materials, including manuals, handouts, and guides.

Content Collaboration:

• Collaborate with home office department leaders to understand project requirements and deliver effective design solutions.
• Ensure that training materials are user-friendly and conducive to effective learning.

Project Management:

• Oversee the end-to-end design process, from concept development to final production, ensuring deadlines are met.
• Manage multiple design projects concurrently, balancing priorities and resources.

Quality Assurance:

• Conduct regular reviews of printed materials to ensure accuracy, clarity, and adherence to brand guidelines.
• Provide constructive feedback to designers to enhance the quality of their work.

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
• Proven experience in graphic design, with a focus on printed materials and collateral.
• Strong proficiency in graphic design software including Adobe Creative Suite (e.g., Illustrator, Articulate, InDesign, Adobe Captivate).
• Excellent understanding of design principles, typography, and layout for print.
• Project management expertise with a track record of delivering high-quality designs on time and within budget.
