Job description
Perry Hall Animal Hospital located in Perry Hall, MD , is seeking to add a 4th full-time Associate Veterinarian who shares our passion for treating both our patient’s physical and mental health. You will be a proactive member of our team of Veterinarians and pet nurses dedicated to providing excellent patient care and compassionate client service. Your day-to-day will include appointments and/or surgical/dental procedures, you will help to set your schedule to your preference.
We are an appointment only small animal practice, all sick and wellness appointments are 30 minutes, consult/second opinion appointments are 60 minutes. We see urgent/same day emergent appointments on a limited, case by case basis that you decide. Overnight care for critical patients would be referred to the local emergency clinic and there is no after-hours emergency duty.
Our team of highly skilled technicians, including 4 heavily experienced RVTs, will give you the freedom to practice with full support. Our hospital is equipped with:
Hours are flexible Monday through Friday with at least one day off during the week and two Saturdays a month.

Qualifications
You must meet the minimum requirements of Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or Veterinariae Medicinae Doctoris (VMD), License to practice veterinary medicine in Maryland, and DEA license.
Additional consideration will be given to candidates that have a passion for continued learning and improvement, demonstrate excellent communication and organizational skills, and ability to perform all standard surgeries and dentals. We are currently seeking someone with at least 2 years of experience. Full and part-time opportunities will be considered.
