Job description

Seeking Locums Emergency Medicine Physician to join our team in Missouri. The facility is a Level II Trauma Center with a wide range of specialties and services, providing comprehensive emergency care to the community.

Responsibilities:

• Provide emergency medical care to a diverse patient population
• Collaborate with dedicated Nocturnist and APPs for comprehensive patient care 

Emergency Department Profile:

• Annual Patient Visits: 65,000
• Trauma Designation: Level II Trauma Center
• ED Beds: 45 (Total Beds: 285)
• Rapid Care Unit open 24/7
• Physician Coverage: 55 hours; 9 & 10-hour shifts
• APP Coverage: 47 hours; 12-hour shifts
• Dedicated Nocturnist
• EMR: Meditech

Specialties and Services:

• Cancer care—Sarah Cannon Cancer Institute
• Cardiology/cardiovascular surgery
• Electrophysiology
• Gastroenterology
• Neonatal intensive care unit—level III
• Neurology/neurosurgery
• Orthopedics
• Pain management
• Radiology/imaging services
• Rehabilitation (inpatient and outpatient)
• Sports medicine
• Sleep disorders center
• Surgery
• Trauma center—level II
• Women’s center
• Wound care

Shifts:

• Physician Shifts: 6a-4p, 9a-7p, 1p-11p, 5p-3a, 8p-6a
• APP Shifts: 6a-4p, 8a-8p, 11a-11p, 6p-6a

Requirements:

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• ATLS (Advanced Trauma Life Support)
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
• Board Certified - AOA
• Missouri State Medical License
