The following are the duties of this position at the GS-06. If you are selected at a lower grade level, you will have the opportunity to learn to perform all these duties, and will receive training to help you grow in this position.

Qualifications

You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement.



Specialized Experience: For the GS-05, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-04 grade level in the Federal service . Specialized Experience for this position includes:


Establishing or maintaining office files;

AND
Using office computer programs, such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint; and/or Google Docs.



OR
You may substitute education for experience as follows: 4 years of study above high school from an accredited business, secretarial or technical school, junior college, or university;

OR
You may qualify with a combination of specialized experience and related education.



Note: Only education in excess of the first 60 semester hours (i.e., beyond the second year) is creditable toward meeting the specialized experience requirement. One full academic year of study (30 semester hours) beyond the second year is equivalent to 6 months of specialized experience.



In addition to meeting experience or education requirements, this position requires a typing speed of 40 words per minute.

Rating : Your application will be evaluated in the following areas: Administrative Management, Communication, Systems & Technology.
