Job description
We are a dedicated law firm in California focused on the healthcare industry specializing in medical malpractices cases! We provide top notch legal services to doctors and other healthcare professionals.
Position Overview: The Controller is responsible for managing the overall financial operations of the organization. This includes financial reporting, auditing functions, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Administer accounts payables/receivables, cash management, and payroll.
- Assist external auditors in conducting financial audits.
- Ensure accurate and timely filing of all required tax forms.
- Manage the legal aspects of the organization, including litigation and malpractice.
Qualifications:
- Relevant Degree
- CPA Certification Preferred
- 5+ years of experience in a Controller or Senior Financial Management role.
- Experience in public accounting, retail, healthcare, manufacturing, or legal industries.
- Knowledge of cost accounting and inventory accounting.
- Experience using ProLaw, Elite, Chrome River/Emburse, and Excel
