Shift : Weekend Shift, approximately Friday, Saturday, Sunday, 7:00 AM - 7:30pm with occasional required overtime

 

Organizational Relationship:

 

This position reports directly to the Manufacturing Manager

 

Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:

• 3+ years’ experience in a manufacturing environment with demonstrated team participation and/or leadership and related continuous improvement successes.
• Sound working knowledge and application of lean manufacturing principles.
• Strong analytical, problem solving, delegation, and conflict resolution skills.
• Exceptional leadership, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to maintain the professional competence, knowledge, and skill necessary for the satisfactory performance of all assigned responsibilities.
• BS in Engineering, Business or a related field required
• Experienced leader in planning, directing, training, and leading a group of leaders and their teams in a manufacturing setting.
• Experience in lean process and principles including but not limited to value stream mapping, Kaizen and creating innovative approaches to reduce and eliminate waste
• Resourceful in solving problems, working collaboratively with others to achieve shared objectives and drive results.
• Strong communication skill and ability to build a strong team and environment where people are motivated to do their best and help the organization win

 

Description of Duties:

 

• Drive results through efficiency gains and effective problem resolution, ensure your team is prepared, trained and motivated to achieve the objectives set
• Our demand and structure can change quickly, so make sure you are able to flex when needed. 
• Identify continuous improvement measures to improve production, equipment performance and quality of product. Collaborate with your team and leaders to implement solutions
• Champion a high commitment and performance culture
• Complete special Projects as required
