Responsibilities:

• Monitors, mentors, trains and schedules Health Unit Coordinators to ensure continuity and consistency to all the nursing units.
• Create and track HealthDrive schedules for audiology, vision and podiatry.
• Conduct audits for transcription of physician orders as well as chart audits.
• Provide assistance and support to the Health Information department.

Qualifications:

• HUC certification preferred.
• 2 years HUC/health records experience
• Ability and desire to oversee people; streamline and organize tasks; strong customer service skills.
• Exercises confidentiality to ensure compliance with all HIPAA regulations.
