Job description
Position Overview
The focus of this position is to develop business in the greater Seattle area through customer-direct sales and distribution, while overseeing area operations and ensuring excellent service is provided to customer accounts.
Responsibilities Include :
Business Development (60%)
- Increase market penetration by prospecting new direct Accurate customers.
- Cultivate and manage Distributor and Broker partners; facilitate frequent meetings and set expectations on proper procedures for bringing on new business.
- Increase profitability by identifying sales opportunities within existing customers.
- Conduct accurate install surveys; foster frequent and clear communication between internal operations, Distributors and Brokers to close business.
Service & Operations (40%)
- Set the example for exceptional service standards; provide technical field support and training as needed.
- Responsible for execution and organization of parts, dispenser, equipment and direct-ship product orders as well as inventory management for the pacific northwest.
- Be the main point of contact and act as a liaison between service technicians in your territory and the operations and administrative teams at headquarters (Tempe).
- Conduct oversight of customer accounts by doing site audits to ensure proper preventative maintenance is performed.
- 24/7 mentality - be on-call and ensure after-hour and weekend service calls are responded to and resolved in a timely and efficient manner.
- Conduct site trainings at customer locations on proper equipment and chemical use.
- Oversee test locations to ensure all customer needs are met.
- Organize large rollouts; work with our internal operations team and coordinate with customers to devise plans for flawless installations.
- Install and maintain chemical dispensing systems, dish machines and water softeners at restaurants, hotels, schools and health care facilities.
- Act as a change-agent by providing insight on how to improve our chemical and service program.

The ideal candidate will have :
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in the Chemical Sales/Service industry
- A minimum of 5 years' experience managing Distributer relationships
- Dish machine installation and preventative maintenance experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Ability to operate a smart phone, conduct internet research and learn new technologies
- Ability to lift with little to no restrictions
- Ability to travel by car and plane (valid driver's license required)
- Able to follow safety standards that vary from site to site
- Organizational skills and the ability to multi-task
- Proven ability to train others
- Strong sense of urgency
- Solid judgment along with decision-making skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Extensive management experience
- Vendor management experience
- Familiarity with Adobe Acrobat Platforms
- Professional, flexible and positive team player that is self-directed and self-motivated
- Outstanding relationship-building skills coupled with a high degree of responsiveness and integrity
Competitive Compensation Package including :
- This is a full-time Exempt position. Hours of work are Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week, along with on-call responsibilities. This position is eligible for overtime for work in excess of 40 per week.
