Architectural Specification Writer Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in architecture, construction, engineering, or other related field.
- Certified Construction Specifier preferred.
- Minimum five years of experience writing and editing technical architectural specifications at all phases of the design process.
- Experience with Masterspec and Speclink applications or a demonstrated technical aptitude and willingness to learn the required software.
Architectural Specification Writer Responsibilities:
- Develope project specifications for a range of mid to large scale commercial projects using Masterspec and Speclink applications.Research products and assemblies to serve as a resource for staff.
- Update office master specification documents and technical library resources.
- Communicating with product representatives to stay up to date on product offerings.
- Work with the Director of QA/QC and the Director of System Operations to ensure office production processes and standards are understood and met by team members.
