Position Overview:
The IT Support Specialist position will support the operation of the agency’s virtual and physical computer network. Under the supervision of the IT Director, this position will be required to install, modify, configure, maintain, optimize and troubleshoot all network/computer hardware and software as well as providing support to system users.

Essential Functions:
· Support, troubleshoot and deploy networked hardware including but not limited to iPads, iPhones, Android Phones, Windows/Mac devices and projectors
· Identifies and procures the hardware and software needed to satisfy user requirements
· Installs, tests and maintains hardware, software and peripheral components including but not limited to monitors, keyboards, printers, cameras, scanners and disk drives for user availability
· Loads appropriate software packages such as operating systems, networking components and office applications
· Assists with network installation such as switches, physical servers and wireless access points
· Maintains the hardware and software inventory
· Provides telephone, in-person and online support to end-users
· Maintain detailed records of work completed using the agency ticket system
· Assists with the implementation and training of policies, guidelines and IT procedures
· Supports all IT-related new hire, transfer and termination needs, in coordination with Human Resources Department
· Monitors systems in accordance with regulatory standards and reports information to the IT Director or designee
· Identifies security vulnerabilities and reports information to the IT Director or designee
· Performs IT related internal or external audits as directed
· Assists in the development and maintenance of an IT training manual to support end user self-support
