BrightStar Care of Sugar Land, TX is looking for a Full Time RN Infusion Nurse to join our team. Job Responsibilities:
Perform Care as defined by patient’s individual Plan of Care and within scope of state’s nurse practice act.
Perform Living Room Visits/Initial assessments/Reassessments/Supervisory Visits
Work with the DON and other staff on coordination of patient care
Monitor patient’s condition and notify appropriate personnel of any changes
Counsel patient and family in meeting nursing and related needs
Follow up on patient care issues when there is a change of condition
Provide direct patient care and document accordingly
Adhere to State, Joint Commission, and Brightstar policies and procedures
On call as required
Variety of field assignments (Infusions, injections, wound care, clinical trials & more)
Job Requirements:
Current unrestricted RN license in state of Texas
Minimum one (1) year of documented experience required
Recent Infusion experience required
Certified CPR and negative TB skin test or chest x-ray
Licensed driver with valid automobile insurance
Clean background and criminal record
Negative Pre-Employment Drug Screen
Must be able to stand walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push and pull. Varied assistance is required depending on the mobility of the client. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
