SUMMARY: This position is entry level. Responsible for assisting the Chief People Officer and the Payroll Administrator in the day-to-day operations of the People Strategy and Operations team at Tax Analysts.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinates new hire orientation with Generalist and assists in new hire orientation with new staff members. Prepares packets for new hires and processes new hire paperwork.
- Conducts reference checks and employment verifications.
- Works closely with the Payroll Administrator to assist in all payroll functions.
- Prepares offer letters, raise memos, and various other business memos.
- Performs benefits administration for enrollments and changes. Ensure benefits invoices are processed accurately for payment each month.
- Compiles reports from the system as requested. Generates and maintains accurate departmental salary and raise budget spreadsheets.
- Responds to and resolves employee questions or problems regarding issues with benefits and compensation. Escalate as applicable.
- Maintains personnel files in compliance with applicable legal requirements to include E-verify.
- Arranges and coordinates company-wide events: monthly celebrations, training seminars, holiday events, and other PSO related events.
- Performs other general administrative duties such as ordering flowers, copying, data entry, filing, mass mailings, and overnight mailing.
- Handles confidential material discreetly and in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Completes other duties as assigned to meet company objectives.

EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE:
- BA or BS in Human Resources, Business, or related field, or equivalent in experience required
- Experience using ADP Workforce Now
- At least three years of work experience required
- People Operations / Human Resources experience a plus
