Physical Therapist
Orthopedic Practice in Northern New Jersey is looking for an experienced Physical Therapist. We are a boutique Orthopedic practice in NJ that offers specialized IV infusions, health and wellness, as well as orthopedic services. We are professional, agile and innovative. The Physical Therapist will perform treatments and exercises to help patients recover from illnesses and injuries. Their main duties include using various treatment techniques to develop personalized treatment plans, prescribing medications to relieve pain and increase mobility and teaching patients exercise techniques to improve their health.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and assess patients' physical conditions and develop appropriate treatment plans
- Provide hands-on therapy techniques such as trigger point therapy and manual therapy
- Design and implement therapeutic exercise programs to improve patients' strength, flexibility, and mobility
- Educate patients and their families on proper techniques for managing their conditions and preventing further injury
- Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care for patients
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- Valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and pathology related to physical therapy
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, including acute care settings such as hospitals
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to adapt treatment plans based on individual patient needs
