Job Summary:
Disney Entertainment Television seeks a dynamic Manager, Content Project Management. As part of the Disney Entertainment Television groups’ Creative Center of Excellence, this role will support the ABC, Disney Branded Television, Freeform, Hulu and Onyx Collective Creative Marketing teams as the liaison with marketing strategy, overseeing the entire spectrum of marketing campaign deliverables. As the nexus between creative and strategy teams, you'll empower collaborative efforts, ensuring the realization of creative visions for comprehensive 360 campaigns. Responsibilities:
- Partner with campaign managers and creatives to shepherd project timelines, ensuring creative development and internal production align with budget and scope.
- Define the roadmap and execution strategy for multiple initiatives, steering roles, workload, and priorities for Content campaign project managers, strategists and creatives.
- Lead and manage a team of 3-4 project managers, fostering their growth and ensuring seamless project execution.
- Drive cross-team alignment on timelines and kickoffs for upcoming Content marketing initiatives, collaborating closely with the Director, Creative Operations for effective pipeline planning and resource distribution.
- Cultivate smooth collaboration among internal teams (Marketing, Synergy, Sales, Research, Channel Owners, Creative Ops, and Creative team) to deliver high-quality marketing collateral efficiently at scale.
- Foster an environment of creativity, inspiring new approaches and marketing opportunities to expand each brand, engage subscribers, and retain viewership.
- Comprehend and address brand, content, performance, business, and KPI needs for each show or brand campaign.
- Identify and implement operational improvements to enhance overall effectiveness.
- Master Airtable tools for seamless project coordination, workflow management, and optimization.
Basic Qualifications:
- 6+ years of experience in a professional agency/marketing environment.
- Exceptional grasp of project management principles, thriving under pressure while making decisive real-time decisions to meet and define stringent deadlines.
- Expertise in rich media and video production.
- Proficiency in workload management for designers, editors, and front-end developers.
- Exceptional communication skills across visual, verbal, and written formats.
- Adaptability to thrive in a dynamic work environment.
- Attention to detail, prioritizing accuracy and quality.
- Eagerness for continuous learning and innovation.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Entertainment experience.
- Comfortable working with team members that use Adobe Creative Suite and coding languages such as HTML5.
- Familiarity with Airtable, Jira, and/or Google Office Suite.
- Knowledge of both Macintosh and PC platforms, and the ability to work in and prepare files for both platforms.
The hiring range for this position in Santa Monica,CA is $92,800 to $124,400 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
