Job description
Position Overview: The ICAM Architect will be responsible for leading the design, development, and implementation of ICAM solutions that align with organizational goals and industry best practices. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels. The ICAM Architect will play a pivotal role in shaping the ICAM architecture and roadmap, driving innovation, and ensuring the security and efficiency of ICAM systems and processes.
Key Responsibilities:
ICAM Strategy and Roadmap:
- Develop and maintain the ICAM architecture strategy, roadmap, and technical vision in alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Define and prioritize ICAM initiatives, projects, and investments to support organizational goals and priorities.
Solution Design and Architecture:
- Lead the design and architecture of ICAM solutions, including identity management, authentication, authorization, and access control mechanisms.
- Define technical requirements, standards, and specifications for ICAM systems, components, and interfaces.
- Ensure scalability, interoperability, and security of ICAM solutions across diverse platforms and environments.
Technical Leadership and Expertise:
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to cross-functional teams and stakeholders on ICAM architecture and best practices.
- Stay abreast of emerging ICAM technologies, standards, and trends to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
- Conduct technical evaluations, proofs of concept, and pilot projects to assess new technologies and solutions.
Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement:
- Collaborate with internal teams, external partners, and clients to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Engage with stakeholders at all levels to gather feedback, address concerns, and promote awareness of ICAM initiatives and benefits.
Risk Management and Compliance:
- Assess security risks, vulnerabilities, and compliance requirements related to ICAM systems and processes.
- Implement controls, safeguards, and monitoring mechanisms to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in ICAM architecture, design, and implementation, preferably in a large enterprise or government environment.
- Strong understanding of ICAM principles, standards, and frameworks (e.g., NIST SP 800-63, FICAM, IAM).
- Expertise in identity management technologies (e.g., LDAP, Active Directory, IAM platforms), authentication protocols (e.g., SAML, OAuth), and access management solutions.
- Experience with ICAM-related technologies and tools, such as PKI, X.509 certificates, multi-factor authentication (MFA), and federated identity.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and propose effective solutions.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and leadership skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
