As a Conceptual Designer, you will be responsible for generating conceptual designs for our clients. You will be expected to work with clients to develop designs that meet their needs. You will be responsible for developing sketches, drawings, and other visual representations of the design concept. You will also be responsible for coordinating with other design professionals and researching building codes and regulations to ensure that the design meets all requirements. We are looking for someone who can think outside the box and come up with truly unique design solutions that meet our client's needs.
- 8+ Years experience with conceptual design of residential projects
- Experience with all aspects of residential design - single family, condos, apartments, mixed use, etc.
- Ability to hand draw designs as well as use design programs including AutoCAD, Sketchup, and Revit
- An in-depth understanding of how a building is put together, while also incorporating the fundamentals of design and design sensibility
- A creative approach to reviewing all drawings and submittals for any needed adjustments
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate with clients, Engineers, Landscape Architects, Planners, etc.
- Experience coordinating all aspects of residential project theming and conceptual design
- Familiarity with local and state wide building codes and regulations
- Ability to report to Newport Beach office
- $100,000 - $125,000 base salary depending on experience
