Job SummaryJob Description Key member of NPI (New Products Introduction) for Automotive products Coordinating with Engineering and Manufacturing to insure BOM’s and Routings are available on time. Insure materials are available for Engineering and Production Builds of Automotive products. Report to Senior Management the status Automotive NPI builds. Attend reediness review calls with Customers. Using the Company's MRP/ERP system, execute complex work plans and schedules with new or variable material and capacity requirements. Support customer requirements within the current build plan. Monitor the movement of assemblies through the production cycle. Coordinate the efficient movement of material with purchasing, production and engineering. Responsible for performing a variety of routing, dispatching and expediting duties necessary to meet production schedules Interact effectively with production, sales and engineering through status and/or exception reporting. Develop written production schedules for Manufacturing. Participate on cross-functional improvement teams. Education / Qualifications Bachelors degree or equivalent experience 5 years planning experience in related industry Experience in the automotive or OEM markets is ideal. Strong written and verbal communication skills APICS certification preferred Strong analytical skills Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing Techniques
