JOB SUMMARY:

Follow Inspection methods to perform normal job tasks in a safe manner under the direction of the direct supervisor or Quality group leader.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform general clean up to keep work area clean and organized.

• Performs visual and dimensional verifications at each step on manufacturing from incoming inspection to the final receiving, in conformity with manufacturing documentation, control plans or other specific documents.

• Verify that the materials, semifinished parts, equipment have been marked / labeled in conformity with requirements of applicable material / product standards and internal work instructions.

• Authorizes final release of the DHP product in location.

• Operates inspection equipment.

• Initiate Quality Notifications and follow-up with all departments for resolution and implementation.

• Keep track and store all quality inspection documents and records generated during manufacturing process related to the materials from raw to finished product.

• Follows Company’s Compliance requirements.

• Maintains and improves the quality management system.

• Assume other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

ORGANIZATION RELATIONSHIPS:

Regardless of other duties, the Quality Inspector has a responsibility to follow LUFKIN production, safety, and quality procedures...

REQUIREMENTS:

a. Education and Training: High School education or equivalent or as deemed sufficient by management b. Technical Requirements: Computer literate; interpret engineering drawings and specifications; good verbal communication skills.

c. Experience: At least 2 years’ work experience in a similar role, or as deemed sufficient by management.

d. Accurately use measuring equipment (i.e., dial calipers, micrometers, pit gauges, etc.) and interpret results to determine product acceptance.
