We are currently hiring a Director of Development and Marketing based in Worcester. The Director of Development & Marketing role is responsible for directing marketing activities, social media/online presence and fundraising efforts including soliciting sponsorships, planning, and managing events and programs that raise visibility, build donor relationships and increase funding opportunities for Kennedy Community Health. Essential Functions: - Identifies and recommends fundraising opportunities to meet organizational goals
- Directs fundraising activities including securing sponsorships and participants
- Directs marketing activities including developing, maintaining and regularly updating online presence for the organization, including website and social media to increase the organization’s visibility and maintain its image
- Maintaining consistent branding across printed and online materials, internally and externally.
- Works collaboratively with external partners to develop relationships to support fundraising and joint grant opportunities
- Develops and oversees giving campaigns, including online and annual appeal, to grow individual giving
- Regularly attends Advancement Committee of the Board and provides reports as required
- Fosters giving relationships with individual donors, corporate giving entities and sponsors, including managing the acknowledgement process and maintaining the donor database
- Develops and maintains key partnerships to advance fundraising opportunities
- Represents Kennedy Community Health in the community as determined by the SVP of Advancement
- Participates in community-based events on behalf of Kennedy Community Health as appropriate
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience: - A minimum of 5 years marketing experience
- A proven track record in managing social media
- Excellent writing and design skills and the ability to work collaborativel y
