Job description

Preferred candidates are individuals who possess a teaching credential (or the like), a minimum of three year’s lead classroom teaching experience, a sincere and deep appreciation for working with children, and the ability to challenge bright and creative children. Candidates should have experience in differentiating instruction, collaborating with colleagues, utilizing educational technology in the classroom, the design and implementation of student-centered, engaging instruction, and teaching Spanish language in an elementary or middle school setting.

Required – Employee should have a teaching credential and bachelor’s degree; minimum of three years experience teaching Spanish to both large and small groups of students.

Desirable – Master’s degree in the area of education or Spanish; five or more years of teaching experience, preferably in a middle school setting.

The school is situated in a park-like 14-acre setting with facilities that include a theater, gymnasium, art studios, science and technology labs, a library and classrooms.
