Job description
Volks Resources has an immediate requirement for a Payroll System Analyst in Cary, NC.
This is preferred to be an on-site position, but an option of Remote is possible.
This is a long-term contract and you must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.

This IS System Analyst position partners and collaborates with the current Workday Functional and Integration team as well as works parallel with our Payroll department and Global team providing guidance to the entities and department personnel.
Responsibilities
Perform daily support of the payroll modules in Workday.
Partner with all payroll stakeholders to troubleshoot and deliver robust solutions.
Work with our Global team for data extract via the supervision of our local resources.
Lead the design and testing of all enhancements or new government compliances.
Ensure continuous optimization and automation of payroll processes.
Critical thinking and problem solving
Can perform work with a high degree of independence.
Ability to effectively document and work with users to achieve identified goals.
Embraces a fast-paced environment and meets deadlines.
Qualifications
2-4 years of Workday IS experience in payroll (US & CA)
Superior experience in translating business requirements into IS capabilities and solutions.
Superior experience in objectively evaluating IS solutions and making recommendations.
Excellent analytical skills and an understanding of the overall context of business processes and IS technologies.
Good at working in a Team environment and with other teams.
