Job Summary: The Social Media Marketing Specialist is a full-time member of the Peel Compton Foundation (PCF) Marketing team and reports directly to the Director of Marketing. The position works with the Marketing team, employees, and external associates to promote the PCF and its mission. This position is responsible for creating clear and consistent messaging that speaks to the NWA community at large, as well as specific target audiences within the local community.
PRINCIPAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: - Develop, implement and manage comprehensive social media strategies that align with overall marketing and business objectives.
- Create compelling and shareable content across various social media platforms, including but not limited to text, image, and video content.
- Plan and execute consistent posting schedule, ensuring timely and relevant content delivery.
- Foster positive online interactions by responding to comments, messages, and mentions promptly. Build and nurture a community of engaged followers.
- Utilize analytics tools to track and analyze the performance of social media campaigns. Provide regular reports with insights and recommendations for optimization.
- Experience with paid social media advertising plans.
- Conceptualize and execute social media campaigns, contests, and promotions to enhance brand awareness and drive user engagement.
- Stay current with industry trends, emerging platforms, and best practices in social media marketing. Implement innovative strategies to keep the PCF brand at the forefront of digital trends.
- Supports and attends Foundation events (fund-raising, community relations, awareness/education, volunteer appreciation, and volunteer recruitment)
- Assists and contributes to community event calendars to promote the work and activity of PCF.
- Performs other duties, as assigned by the Director of Development.
QUALIFICATIONS AND ATTRIBUTES: - Must be a motivated, self-starter with strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to tailor messages for different audiences.
- 3 years of experience in a marketing or related capacity
- Ability to publish content, maintain continuity of themes, design layouts, make website updates and increase online presence to potential customers. They must have knowledge of search engine analytics to maximize traffic to websites.
- Familiar with publishing and design software to maintain website, strong communication skills and an up-to-date awareness of marketing techniques.
- Prior experience in marketing, communications, design, and a solid background in technical skills.
Proficiency in computer software related to word-processing, presentations and spreadsheets and Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere, Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign)
- Familiarity with social-media channels (including Facebook, Pinterest, Twitter and Instagram)
- Ability to meet deadlines, work well under pressure, respond positively to changing conditions and prioritize work appropriately.
- Must be a team player, with excellent interpersonal skills and a commitment to relationship-building for the PCF both internally and externally.
- Ability to work independently with little supervision.

- Knowledge of web design software and best practices
- Manages various web and technology apps/tools
