Job Description: Surgical Technologist - Cardiovascular Operating Room
Responsible to function as the "scrub technologist" in the surgical suite and other clinical areas, which consists of the selection and set-up of the sterile table with instruments, supplies and equipment; the passing of instruments to the surgeon during the procedure; maintaining sterile technique and caring for instruments following the procedure.
Average 40 hours weekly, 8-hour Day shift, Full-time
Average 36 hours weekly, 12-hour Day shift, Full-time
Average 30 hours weekly, 10-hour Day shift, Full-time
On-call, Variable shift, Part-time
Required Qualifications:
Graduate of a course in Surgical Technology.
Washington Surgical Technologist Registration upon hire
BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
Current experience as a registered Surgical Technologist; may consider recent graduates
2 years of OR experience preferred.
