Job Description and Requirements
We are looking for an experienced leader in Machine Learning, Generative AI and Data Analytics as applied to the domain of Design Automation for semiconductor manufacturing. You will be responsible to drive the strategy, direction, and execution from concepts to products. You will lead the R&D team, expand and mold the team to align it with the specific solutions that we aspire to deliver to our customers. In this role you will have responsibility to make impactful connections between semiconductor manufacturing tools and other major technology areas that Synopsys serves, such as yield analysis tools or TCAD tools, and eventually drive the development of synergistic technology that can solve customer problems of increased complexity. The central technology that will be used to achieve these goals will be ML and AI.
Expected Qualifications:
- Advanced degree (PhD or MSc) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Mechanical Engineering or Data Science
- 15+ years of experience in the domain of semiconductor engineering, processing, design for manufacturing, design implementation or adjacent areas
- Demonstrable expertise in Machine Leaning and AI by previous large projects in such domains
- Ability to organize, inspire and lead large teams
- Ability to communicate ideas and formulate and solve problems that matter to our customers
- Strong computer skills in the relevant to our group languages (C/C++, python, Matlab, perl, tcl/tk)
The base salary range across the U.S. for this role is between $262,000-$392,000. In addition, this role may be eligible for an annual bonus, equity, and other discretionary bonuses.
