Located in the Phoenix Arizona suburb of Chandler; Chandler Regional Medical Center is a 338-bed not-for-profit hospital with more than 2500 employees and almost 1000 doctors on staff representing all major specialties. Chandler Regional joined the Dignity Health system in 1999 but has been part of the community for more than 50 years. The hospital includes a Level I Trauma Center a Heart and Vascular Center a Wound Healing Center a Family Birth Center and many additional services.

• Prepares and serves food within guidelines of menu and dietary requirements, using required kitchen utensils and equipment such as slicers, mixers, ovens, fryers, steamers, stove tops, and grills.
• Modifies preparations to account for food allergies.
• Follows healthcare food service industry standards, regulations, guidelines and procedures including monitoring and maintaining food temperatures during cooking, holding, and storage processes.
• Avoids cross contamination of foods and adheres to personal hygiene requirements.
• Performs washing and cleaning duties to ensure sanitation and cleanliness in cooking and serving areas.

Minimum Requirements:

• Two years Food Service experience
• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent combination of education and experience
• ServSafe® Allergen certification within 30 days of hire
• ServSafe® Food Handlers Card certification within 30 days of hire
